WHAT WE DO
We are impartial, third parties with no vested interest in the decisions you make for your family, your friendships, your children or your business. We act as guides, sounding boards, brainstormers, and reality testers. Our role as mediators is to help identify key concerns and generate options which address both parties' stated interests. Through direct conversations, we help you to clarify and articulate your needs and to better understand the needs of the other person or people involved. We can provide guidelines about what issues need to be addressed and share practical solutions that have worked for other clients.
Every decision must fit the unique circumstances of every case. There are no right or wrong choices and all solutions must be mutually agreed upon. We will help you test the choices you make to ensure that they are practical and will hold up over time.
Both parties will likely have to compromise, but through open conversation you will have all the information you need to make the best choices. We help in reaching an agreement that is equitable for everyone involved.
A successful mediation is complete when both parties reach an agreement that is balanced, fair and workable. Once all important issues have been mutually addressed and resolved, we will draft an agreement to be signed by both parties.
